Fox Valley Dog Training Club, Inc., was founded in 1948. Since 1968, we have trained on most Thursday evenings at the Kane County Fairgrounds in St. Charles, Illinois.
 
Obedience classes are the mainstay of FVDTC. For over 50 years we have taught the general public how to train their house pets to become welcome canine citizens and many even go on to join the community of competitive obedience.
 
We offer a complete range of classes: puppies, beginners, advanced obedience and conformation, along with seminars and workshops.We host AKC trials in obedience, rally, and agility, as well as AKC Tracking Tests. Our members are also involved in agility, herding, therapy dog work and many other genres of training and are enthusiastic about helping those interested in these canine activities. Our club welcomes all breeds, including mixed breeds.
 
Our motto is "A well-trained dog is a happy dog".  (This makes for a happier owner too)!  You can create and strengthen a lifetime bond with your dog by attending a class or classes and taking the time to train what you have learned.  We teach you to train your dog!
