OFA Eye Exam
FVDTC is happy to announce an OFA eye exam will be held on the evening of Thursday October 3rd, 2019 at The Fox Valley Dog Training Club during regular training, located at the Kane County Fairgrounds.
Exams will begin at 5:00pm and run through approximately 9:00pm. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your dog’s eyes examined at a greatly reduced fee! Plus it is highly recommended that you get your dog’s eyes examined yearly.
Denise M. Lindley DVM of Animal Eye Consultants will be performing the OFA eye exams.
Cost: $35 per dog. (Prepay to reserve your spot.)
Send payment, made payable to FVDTC, to:
6N275 Brierwood Dr
St Charles, IL 60175
**Please include your preferred time your dog's exam, plus your dog’s name and breed, and your preferred contact information. The exams will be approximately a half hour after your arrival. Plan to arrive 30 minutes before the exam in order to get eye drops placed in your dog’s eyes so they are dilated for the exam, and to fill out paperwork. Bring your dog’s AKC registration information the night of exams to make filling out paperwork easier.
We will do our best to make your appointment at your requested time, but get your reservations and fees in early to get your preferred time slot!
*There will be no refunds of examination fees starting two weeks prior to the examine date.*

Taurine Testing Clinic
October 8th, 6-9pm
Have you seen the FDA alerts of a possible link between grain-free dog foods (especially those with a lot of peas) and a heart condition called dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM)? This is scary and real. Young, healthy dogs have died from this condition. There is little warning until it is too late. The good news is that, caught early, it has a very good chance of reversal. The first step is to test the blood for taurine. We are happy to offer this clinic to help you test your dog for a fraction of the cost of going to your vet as we are working directly with the lab. Don't take a chance. Walk-ins will be welcome as space permits. SIGN UP HAS BEGUN! Send in your FORM today! In addition, to save yourself a few minutes the night of the clinic you can print and fillout the submision form. We will have copies available the night of the test as well.

When: Saturday November 16th, from 8am to 3pm
Where: Kane Country Fairgrounds
Costs: Echo w/ Ausculation $250 Ausculation alone $50
*Exams must be prepaid before the trial!*
