CLASS NEWS
The application and information for each class can be found on our class page. To reserve a spot in an upcoming class, please contact Nancy Pederson.
Please do not show up on the first night of class without contacting Nancy to see if there is still room in the class. The class sizes are limited. Classes are often filled before the start date.
We are taking applications for the July Puppy and August Beginner classes.

Membership Renewal Time!
It is time again to renew your membership in the FVDTC. Renewals this year are only for a half year as we transition to our new fiscal year starting in January. So the good news is the dues are half price (well they are only for half a year)! The bad news is we must go through this process again in January.
We ask that everyone fill out the form (even if you owe no dues) and that all forms be in by 7/15/2013. If your form has not been received by then your name will not appear in the Roster.
So don't delay - get your forms in now!
CGC Test Announcement
Is your pooch as well behaved as you think? Find out at our June 20th Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Testing Event. Earning a CGC Title shows a commitment to responsible dog ownership.
The American Kennel Club (AKC) CGC program is a noncompetitive program open to all dogs, purebred and mixed breeds alike. The CGC certificate that is awarded demonstrates the dog owner’s dedication to having a well-mannered dog.
If you have any questions that pertain to the CGC Test please contact our CGC Coordinator Willie Santiago at cgc@fvdtc.org To sign up for the test please send in the enrollment form.
FVDTC offers a complete range of classes including the following: Puppy, Conformation, Rally, and all levels of Obedience. Many of our members are also involved in Agility, Tracking, Water Rescue Dog, Herding Training, and Therapy Dog work. We are enthusiastic about helping those interested in these various canine activities. FVDTC welcomes mixed breed dogs into our training program. Both Mixed breeds and Purebreds can earn titles through AKC and UKC registries, as well as qualify for club awards.
FVDTC Scholarships
FVDTC encourages a life-long love of companion animals, not just dogs, and will reward the dedicated interest of High School and College students by awarding two scholarships each year to students who have demonstrated an ongoing commitment to animals. Details for each scholarship can be found in the application packets.
